Sixteen college and high school students from schools like Brown, Harvard, Amherst and Vassar have been chosen from more than 100 applicants as the faculty for the Breakthrough Santa Fe Summer 2007 program.

Justin Hilderbrandt, Santa Fe High School, becomes the first Breakthrough student to transition to teacher.  Lucia Donatelli, Brown, Ted Pickus, University of Michigan and Meaghan Stern, Amherst return for second or third summers.

New teachers are: Erin Okamoto, Scripps; Julia Rudolf, Harvard; Stephanie Spiro, Brandeis; Katie Pollet, University of Michigan; Sam Ritter, Carleton; Rick Ramos, University of Illinois; Willa Conway, Vassar; Lucy Robins, Vassar; Megan Barrett, Hamilton; Christina Cook, UNC Chapel Hill; Brynne Wilson, Boston College; and Nathaniel Graves, Virginia State University.
