Seeking Student Interns

Breakthrough Santa Fe is seeking rising freshman and sophomore Breakthrough students to serve as student interns for the summer 2008 program. Students will work closely with Breakthrough faculty, mentor teachers and directors. The purpose of the internship program is to prepare students who have finished two summer programs for a future teaching internship.
A student intern coordinator will oversea the program. Interns will receive critical experience and knowledge about teaching and being a member of the Breakthrough team. Interns will observe teachers, provide clerical support, communicate with partents, students and the public and teach a lesson (s). Interns also take a college-prep class that will help them begin thinking about the college process.
Deadline for application is Friday, April 13th. Interviews will be conducted at the after-school program at the College of Santa Fe from 4 - 5:30 pm on Thursday, April 19th. Student Intern Application.pdf
